Byambwenu Peter is the Executive director of Almasi Afrika initiative (AAI).With rich experiences and expertise in the fields of EAC | AfCFTA | Agenda 2063. His dedicated work has redefine the role of Pan-Africanism in the 21th century to catalyse the African home grown initiatives in realization of the continent we want to see, whose developments should be people- centred .

Formally a researcher with Hatchile consult and Afrobarometer project for over 8 years, He previously worked with Makerere school of public health (MakSPH) as a researcher on a number of projects and currently Chairman at citizens mass campaign -EAC 2030.

Byambwenu Peter is also a policy analyst and a member of 20 advocacy think tank platforms in East African region.
